Community Options, Inc. is a national non‑profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. We are looking for a Host Home Provider in the Council Bluffs, IA area. This independently contracted position provides a 24/7 family‑like setting for an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities.
DescriptionOpen your home to someone with a disability! Here is an opportunity to make a positive impact on someone’s life – become a Foster Care/Host Home Provider. This is a chance to help make a difference by opening your home to an individual with developmental and/or physical disabilities. You must have the ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support.
Requirements- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
- Must be open to supervisory visits in your home
Our Host Home Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per-diem rate PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt.
