Overview
This position performs quality assurance, program evaluation and system-level process improvement activities of the Disability Access Point (DAP) Districts ensuring compliance, policy application and effective service delivery outcomes.
INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY
Essential Functions- Implements and monitors internal quality assurance and compliance processes; analyzes data and develops system-level reports to support leadership decision-making.
- Develops and maintains outcomes measurement tools, validates data accuracy, and supports the establishment and tracking of quality performance targets.
- Oversees Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC) data collection and ensures compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and reporting requirements.
- Identifies areas for program, policy, and operational improvement and recommends strategies to enhance effectiveness, consistency, and service delivery outcomes.
- Assists with the development and implementation of service processes, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives across programs and districts.
- Serves as operational and supervisory support during staff absences or high-volume periods; assists supervisors with workflow continuity and policy implementation.
- Acts as a subject matter expert and organizational representative for the Disability Access Point (DAP), collaborating with internal departments, public agencies, boards, committees, and community partners; supports communication efforts including website and informational content as assigned.
- Knowledge of Disability Services Navigator functions, Disability Access Point operations, and Disability Services System Plans.
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles and experience creating, analyzing, and reporting on service and outcome data.
- Strong written, verbal, and public communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficiency with computer applications and relevant technology; ability to analyze complex problems and develop logical solutions.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and to build, maintain, and navigate effective working relationships, including mediating challenging situations.
- A bachelor’s degree with 30 semester hours or equivalent quarter hours in a human services field (including, but not limited to social work, psychology, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, nursing, education, occupational therapy, and recreational therapy) and at least three years of supervising staff in the delivery of services to individuals with disabilities or any equivalent combination of training and experience that will have provided the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and adequate liability insurance are required.
