• Manually pull dirty laundry from the chute area (approximately 250 lbs. per hour throughout the shift).
• Visually identify and sort various types of dirty laundry, such as bed sheets, pillowcases, bedspreads, and terry.
• Once carts are full, push and walk carts to the scale for weighing.
• Accurately weigh each cart with 225 lbs. of laundry (excluding cart weight) on the scale.
• After weighing the laundry, promptly push and maneuver carts from the scale to the washer for loading.
• After loading the washer, read and write data from the machine on a log sheet.
• Monitor the operating cycle of the washer/dryer while carrying out other assigned duties.
• When the washer/dryer cycle is complete, reach and manually unload and loosen clean laundry into carts.
• Push and maneuver carts to the feeder/sorter area.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team with other employees.
• Turn in all lost and found items to ensure proper logging and distribution.
• Report all safety hazards or maintenance deficiencies for proper handling.
• Maintain and clean all equipment used throughout the shift.
• Assist with the cleanliness of hotel rooms, hallways, linen rooms, employee and storage areas as directed by the Housekeeping Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Greet all guests throughout the shift with the proper salutation and a pleasant expression.

• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain a well‑groomed appearance.
• Perform duties with a sense of urgency.
• Continuously lift and grab heavy/large amounts of laundry up to 50 pounds at a time from the ground to above head level.
• Push carts weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Tolerate high temperatures and high noise level environment.
• Get along well with co‑workers and work as a team.
• Work any day of the week and any shift.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Stoop, bend, push, pull, and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Climb or step continually and quickly maneuver in small work areas.
• Ability to bend, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, climb, kneel, and crouch.
