ICU RN – Job Details Orientation Requirement RNs must pass a Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. This is an open-book exam covering skills learned during orientation. All necessary resources are provided. A minimum score of 90% is required to pass. Failure to meet the passing score will result in termination of contract. Radius & Employment Restrictions 50-mile radius rule enforced.
Candidates must not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any Common Spirit facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year. Unexpired driver’s license is required at submission and will be used to verify radius eligibility. Policy & Compliance Artificial fingernails are prohibited in all patient-care departments. Refusal to remove artificial nails will result in termination of contract. All RTO must be submitted upfront;
additional RTO will not be approved after submission. Position Details Department: ICU Unit Type:

ICU experience with drips, ventilators, BiPAP Ability to manage and titrate vasoactive and sedation drips Patient Care Details Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 2:1 Common Diagnoses:
Sepsis Respiratory failure Stroke Myocardial infarction DKA, STEMI, A-fib with RVR COVID, COPD exacerbation, PE Limited GI cases (no GI providers onsite; stabilization and transfer as needed) Drips & Monitoring Titration
