Lead Pavement Markings Technician

We’re seeking a reliable and experienced Lead Pavement Markings Technician to supervise and work alongside field crews, ensuring pavement marking projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. This is a hands‑on leadership role involving equipment operation, job site coordination, and crew development.

• Lead and assist crews with pavement marking jobs
• Interpret project plans and organize jobsite execution
• Set up and tear down work zones following safety protocols
• Operate equipment such as paint trucks, forklifts, skid steers, and trailers
• Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and project contacts
• Complete daily reports and quantity tracking
• Provide on‑site training to crew members
• Perform manual labor including raking, shoveling, and brooming

• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass pre‑employment drug screen and DOT physical
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Able to lift 75+ lbs and perform physical labor
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Mechanical and basic electrical knowledge

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years in construction or traffic control/pavement marking
