TRAINER/INTERPRETER (BURMESE) – 2nd Shift – CB2
Join JBS USA as a Trainer/Interpreter (English and Burmese) reporting to Human Resources/Training. Position: 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays).
Wages
: $20.10–$22.40 per hour with additional benefits.
Shift differential $1.00 per hour for 2nd/3rd shift.
Bonus $1 for perfect attendance each pay period. Weekly pay every Friday. 10 days paid vacation after one year. Full benefits after 60 days. Free community college for employees and dependents.

- Facilitate effective communication between parties by converting spoken or written language.
- Attend meetings and act as official translator to mediate discussion.
- Relay concepts and ideas between languages.
- Convert written materials and conversations from one language into another.
- Employ computer‑assisted translation.
- Facilitate communication for people with limited English proficiency.
- Translate information for applicants during interviews and with hiring paperwork.

Computer knowledge required. Attention to detail required. Ability to speak, write, type and translate to/from English/Burmese. Personal and professional integrity required. Comfortable working in cold temperatures and standing 8‑10 hours per day. Some weekends as necessary. Trustworthy to handle confidential matters/information. Ability to work in a team environment.
Position SummaryThe Trainer is responsible for assisting in all training/development occurrences such as Orientation and paperwork.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Train on the job all new hires and active employees who are: new hires, transferring to another job, employees coming back from LOA, or need retraining.
- Complete all necessary paperwork.
- Record daily progress on the continuous improvement sheet for new hires and/or employees undergoing retraining.
- Have some knowledge of all jobs in the plant.
- Fill in the plant as needed.
- Observe and enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams.
- Have a working knowledge of the alchemy program to facilitate annual trainings.
- Stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear.
- Office and plant setting: wet or humid conditions, extreme cold, and working near moving mechanical parts.
- Noise level usually moderate but can be loud in the production area.
