Data Center Logistics Associate – Various Shifts

The Data Center Logistics Associate plays a vital role in ensuring seamless operation of our data center. The position requires excellence in inventory management, coordinating shipments, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming inventory, including racks & trays, networking equipment, and other hardware. Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation. Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments. Prepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging for outgoing shipments. Upload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness. Transport inventory by hand using material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) in accordance with safety procedures.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep a clean, organized workspace including storage areas and shipping/receiving docks. Assist with disposal of packaging materials and obsolete equipment as needed.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Follow data center security measures and access controls.

Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (operations, procurement, technical support) to fulfill inventory and logistics needs. Provide support for special projects or initiatives as directed by management. Complete other duties as assigned while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency. - Assembly: Assist in the setup and installation of computer server racks according to instructions. Follow diagrams and guidelines for rack assembly. Use basic tools and equipment safely and effectively. Support senior technicians with cable management and organization within server racks.
- Minimum 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic office software (Microsoft Excel, Word).
- Basic math calculation abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and use of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, respectful, and professional attitude in all interactions.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime.
- Ability to lift and move heavy material; handle server trays and racks.
- Use power equipment to assist with moving heavy racks in accordance with safety protocols.
