This Senior Accounting Technician position requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience. You will prepare tax filings, maintain accurate financial records, and support compliance processes while collaborating closely with your team. Your expertise will help in resolving discrepancies and communicating with government bodies regarding information requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist with bookkeeping and tax engagement compilation

• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and accounting records

• Identify and correct discrepancies in financial data

• Communicate with government regarding tax matters

• Work collaboratively with the client engagement team

Requirements:

• Accounting certificate or bachelor’s degree in commerce/business

• At least two years of relevant accounting experience

• Preferred experience with T4s and T5s tax preparation

• Basic accounting principles knowledge is beneficial

• Familiarity with accounting and tax software considered an asset
