Position: Psychologist for K-12 Education at SD71

School District 71 invites applications for two full-time psychologist roles that focus on promoting inclusive educational practices. This position combines administrative and consultative responsibilities, leveraging your expertise in psycho-educational assessments to analyze cognitive and socio-emotional factors affecting student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments

• Work with School Based Teams to understand student challenges

• Facilitate workshops on assessment and intervention strategies

• Collaborate based on BC Ministry of Education guidelines

• Travel across the district to provide support

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in School Psychology

• Membership in BC Association of School Psychologists preferred

• License with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC

• Valid BC Driver's Licence for district travel

• Experience in providing consultative support for diverse learners
