Position: Secondary Education Assistant - School District 71
Become an integral part of School District 71 as a Secondary Education Assistant. This role involves supporting diverse learners in grades K-12, focusing on behavior management and personal care.

School District 71 is actively seeking an Education Assistant for 28.75 hours weekly, Monday through Friday. Ideal candidates hold a Grade 12 education, a Human Services Worker Program certificate, and have experience with diverse learners. You will collaborate with teachers and school programs to empower students and promote inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in daily living and classroom activities

• Assist with behavior management strategies for diverse needs

• Implement personal care routines as directed

• Engage in student-specific training and data collection

• Facilitate inclusion of students in educational settings

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education with relevant certifications

• Two years of experience supporting diverse abilities

• Proficiency in French for French Immersion classes

• Valid Class 5 B.C. driver's license and personal vehicle

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
