Pro Merita Academy Blended Teacher

Drive positive change as a Blended Learning Teacher at Pro Merita Academy, part of School District 71 in Langley, BC. Support Grades 8-11 students through innovative online and face-to-face instruction.
This 0.75 FTE temporary position is designed for educators skilled in online learning environments. You’ll maintain classroom management and develop engaging curriculum while collaborating with a supportive team. Focused on inclusivity, our school prioritizes the unique needs of each learner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate engaging learning experiences for grades 8-11

• Manage online classrooms using various technologies

• Create and adapt courses to meet diverse learning needs

• Support assessment practices for documentation and feedback

• Provide tutorial support both virtually and in person
Requirements:

• Experience in online instruction and curriculum design

• Secondary education teaching experience as a Generalist

• Advanced skills in using learning management platforms

• Ability to provide individualized support per I.E.P.s

• Commitment to applying inclusive teaching strategies
