Position: Instructor for Holistic Health and Well-Being
Make a difference in the lives of students at North Island College by teaching the Holistic Health and Well-Being course as a Sessional Instructor. Work in a blended format at the Comox Valley campus.

North Island College invites applications from qualified candidates to instruct in the Human Services Social Services Diploma program. This role focuses on creating a dynamic learning environment through effective instructional strategies and student support. Flexibility in scheduling allows alignment with program goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and prepare instructional materials

• Teach required subject matter in holistic health

• Conduct student evaluations and provide timely feedback

• Maintain and submit accurate attendance and grade records

• Participate in departmental committees and meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related discipline

• Master’s degree in Education or Social Work preferred

• Experience with adult learners, especially at a post-secondary level

• Understanding of Indigenous communities and their pedagogies

• Clear Criminal Record Check; valid BC driver’s license
