Position: Library Technician for Ecole Puntledge Park
Contribute to Ecole Puntledge Park as a Library Technician with School District 71. This part-time role focuses on supporting student learning and resource management in a collaborative environment.

As the Temporary Library Technician, you will work 12 hours weekly, assisting in cataloguing and circulation tasks under the guidance of the Teacher Librarian. This position emphasizes your ability to communicate effectively with students, utilize technology, and enrich library resources, creating an engaging space for learning and exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out library cataloguing and resource management

• Facilitate access to library materials for students

• Create an inviting library atmosphere

• Monitor library activities during teacher absence

• Maintain up-to-date inventory of resources and devices

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education with library technician diploma

• Current experience in a school or public library setting

• Familiarity with English and preferably French language

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Proven ability to collaborate and work independently
