Position: Strings Lessons Teacher for Long & McQuade
Join Long & McQuade as a Strings Lessons Teacher in Courtenay, BC. We are looking for talented instructors for flexible lessons during weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

This independent contractor position focuses on teaching violin among other instruments. Our Lesson Centre is equipped for various musical lessons covering all age groups. Ideal candidates will show prior teaching experience and a solid grasp of music theory and teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging violin lessons for diverse age groups

• Create lesson plans based on standard teaching methods

• Maintain student progress and provide feedback

• Promote a supportive and enjoyable learning atmosphere

• Adapt curriculum to fit individual student needs

Requirements:

• Music degree or diploma from a recognized school

• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Proven teaching background with students of all ages

• Familiarity with lesson curriculums for group/private lessons

• Flexibility for scheduling lessons on various days
