As a part-time Intermediate/CST Teacher (0.60 FTE), you will work Monday through Wednesday afternoons, and all day Thursday. This temporary position begins upon the leave of the current teacher and ends on June 30, 2027. Your involvement will support educators in their commitment to socio-emotional learning and evidence-based practices, helping every student thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on lesson development with fellow educators
• Support district assessments for effective learning outcomes
• Participate in monthly Curriculum Support Teacher meetings
• Foster a caring and inclusive classroom environment
• Engage in trauma-informed teaching practices
Requirements:
• Willingness to embrace the district’s inclusivity principles
• Strong background in evidence-based literacy practices
• Ability to integrate technology into the curriculum
• Commitment to continuous personal and professional development
• Valid teaching certificate in British Columbia
