Position: Infrastructure Planning Engineer at City
Become an integral part of the Asset Management Division as an Infrastructure Planning Engineer with the City of Courtenay. Lead innovative infrastructure planning to support sustainable community growth and resilience.

This position in Courtenay, British Columbia, necessitates a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with at least five years of related experience. You will engage in cross-departmental collaboration, overseeing infrastructure frameworks that align with major city plans while ensuring effective capital investment strategies focused on growth and climate resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead infrastructure planning for capital project coordination

• Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration and meetings

• Maintain the City’s network models and data integrity

• Coordinate long-range planning to meet growth demands

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• 5+ years in infrastructure planning and municipal engineering

• Professional Engineer or AScT designation
