Clinical Occupational Therapist Position

Deliver exceptional care in the role of a Clinical Occupational Therapist, focusing on patient safety and quality improvement. Collaborate closely with the Lead Occupational Therapist while managing a diverse caseload.

In this role, you will be accountable for all clinical aspects related to your assigned caseload, upholding hospital objectives and adhering to the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists' standards. Your work will focus on fostering quality patient interactions and effective therapy practices, ensuring high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee clinical duties for assigned therapy clients

• Collaborate with the Lead Occupational Therapist for guidance

• Implement and follow hospital care standards

• Ensure adherence to client-centered practice guidelines

• Evaluate patient progress and modify treatments as needed

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Active licensure with applicable regulatory body

• Membership eligibility in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists

• Proficient communication and organizational skills

• Capability to fulfill physical demands of the role
