As a Support Worker at Communitas, you will play a crucial role in meeting the varied needs of individuals in a communal residence. Your tasks will involve collaborating with a team to provide compassionate support while promoting dignity and choice. Flexibility in shift availability is essential, as you will cover a range of shifts from day to night.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support residents with daily living and care tasks

• Ensure dignity and personal choice in care

• Work closely with health professionals for holistic care

• Be available for flexible shifts including weekends

• Use creativity to engage residents in activities

Requirements:

• Community Support Worker certificate or in-house training

• Effective communication skills are a must

• Class 5 BC Drivers License; acquire Class 4 within 6 months

• Available for various shift types

• Certified in Emergency First Aid training
