Join School District 71 as a Temporary Custodian and contribute to a nurturing learning environment. This role focuses on cleanliness and safety during PM shifts.
The Custodian role at School District 71 offers 37.5 hours of work weekly, assisting in maintaining a safe and clean atmosphere for students and staff. Set to last until August 31, 2027, this temporary position requires candidates to have custodial experience and a commitment to high standards in cleanliness and cooperation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dust, mop, and polish various surfaces daily
• Clean and maintain bathrooms and shower rooms
• Collect and dispose of waste efficiently
• Report any maintenance concerns to supervisors
• Collaborate with staff to uphold standards
Requirements:
• Preferred Grade 12 education
• Building Service Worker Certificate is a plus
• Experience in custodial services is essential
• Capable of lifting heavy objects as needed
• Strong communication skills are necessary
