Support the cleanliness and safety of School District 71 in the evening Custodian role. Provide essential cleaning services that contribute to a positive educational atmosphere throughout the school.
This temporary PM Custodian position involves 37.5 hours per week and lasts until August 31, 2027. Candidates should have a Grade 12 education and custodial experience, alongside the physical capability to lift and carry heavy objects. This role emphasizes collaboration with administrators and staff to ensure ideal cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cleaning tasks on various school surfaces
• Maintain the condition of washrooms and communal areas
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively
• Collect and dispose of trash as needed
• Report any facility issues to supervisory staff
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Experience in custodial work
• Knowledge of safety systems for buildings
• Ability to handle physical requirements of the job
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
