Registered Nurse Leadership

Position: Registered Nurse with Leadership Role
Contribute your nursing expertise as a Registered Nurse in Courtenay, BC, providing leadership and clinical resource to the care team. Ensure quality care and safety in a supportive environment.

This position requires a current license with the College of Registered Nurses of BC. You will oversee staff tasks, coordinate resident care, and promote a team-oriented atmosphere. Bring your knowledge in dementia and palliative care to ensure high-quality service and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise staff while assigning and monitoring their work

• Coordinate person-centered care for residents

• Provide leadership in emergencies and day-to-day operations

• Address and manage risks relating to resident care

• Contribute to the development of care policies and standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

• Current RN registration in BC

• 3-5 years experience in nursing, especially with dementia and palliative care

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• CPR Level 1 certification
