Part-Time Security Guard

Position: Part-Time Security Guard Positions Available
Join Commissionaires as a Security Guard with varied schedules in Courtenay/Comox Valley. Opportunities exist for part-time, full-time, or casual roles focusing on evening and overnight shifts.

In this role, you'll offer exceptional customer service while conducting security patrols and managing access control. Your responsibilities will include responding to emergencies, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This position allows you to make impactful decisions and ensure safety across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver superior customer service to public and clients

• Conduct security foot patrols across assigned sites

• Resolve conflicts and respond to emergency situations

• Execute evacuation and emergency response protocols

• Communicate issues directly to the site supervisor

Requirements:

• Possess a valid BC Security Workers License or attend training

• Must be physically capable of standing/walking for long periods

• Adapt to varying weather conditions during shifts

• Positive attitude with professional communication ability

• Ability to work independently and problem-solve
