Position: Youth Counselor with ICY Team
Become an Integrated Child & Youth Counselor to provide tailored therapeutic services to youth and families across the region. This full-time position emphasizes the need for emergency counseling and school liaison efforts to address mental health issues.

In this impactful role, you will act as a vital component of the ICY team, managing Youth Peer Support Workers and liaising with schools and community organizations. Your focus on mental health and substance use support is crucial for driving positive outcomes for children and youth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted therapeutic counseling and monitoring

• Supervise and develop Youth Peer Support Workers

• Collaborate with school staff for effective advocacy

• Lead workshops for families and community agencies

• Facilitate consensus-building in team settings

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in a related counseling field

• Valid Registered Clinical Counselor (RCC) status

• At least 3-5 years of clinical counseling experience

• Effective crisis intervention capabilities

• Experience with Indigenous youth populations is essential
