Position: Full-Time Employment Outreach Counsellor

We are seeking a dedicated professional with experience in social work and vocational rehabilitation.

Your role will involve assessing client needs, interviewing for employment history and career aspirations, and connecting clients with essential external services. A strong emphasis will be placed on overcoming barriers to employment and sharpening job readiness skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client needs for assistance and support

• Conduct interviews to gather employment and education details

• Refer clients to appropriate external services

• Identify employment barriers and assist with job readiness

• Collect and provide labour market information

Requirements:

• Relevant college diploma or certificate required

• 1 to 2 years’ experience in similar roles

• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle

• Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills

• Permanent residency or valid work permit for Canada
