Position: Social Services Employment Outreach Counsellor
Make a meaningful impact as a Social Services Employment Outreach Counsellor, focusing on client rehabilitation and job readiness. This full-time position offers $32.00 an hour in a permanent role.

Seeking a candidate with experience in social sciences and substance abuse counseling for our agency. The role involves interviewing clients to assess needs, referring them to services, and helping them develop essential job skills. You will leverage your knowledge to assist clients effectively in achieving their employment goals while breaking down barriers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate supports

• Conduct in-depth interviews to understand client backgrounds

• Connect clients to external community resources

• Facilitate job readiness training and skills development

• Gather and disseminate labour market information to clients

Requirements:

• Completion of a relevant college program or certificate

• 1–2 years’ experience in a counseling role

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle

• Focused on client care with high interpersonal awareness

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
