First Student is hiring School Bus Drivers dedicated to transporting students to and from school safely. Drivers follow daily routes with technology support, inspect vehicles before and after trips, and assist students boarding and exiting. The position offers Monday-to-Friday scheduling without nights or weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport students safely to and from school
Follow daily routes using industry-leading technology
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Assist students boarding and exiting the bus
Requirements:
Good verbal communication skills
At least 21 years old
Valid driver's license held for at least one year
Successful Ministry-prescribed medical examination
Successful background checks
Support safe student transportation in Comox through route technology, vehicle inspections, and attentive boarding assistance every weekday.
