Audit Senior

Overview

This Audit Senior role offers exposure to a broad portfolio of complex audit engagements, including group audits and consolidations, while taking ownership of assignments from planning through to completion. It is ideal for a qualified or near qualified auditor looking to accelerate progression and deepen technical and client-facing experience.

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to manager review
• Deliver audit fieldwork on-site and remotely across a diverse client portfolio
• Prepare and review audit files and reports to a high technical standard
• Supervise, delegate to and develop junior team members
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact
• Identify technical issues and contribute to their resolution
• Support accounts preparation under UK GAAP and relevant frameworks

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or at final stages of qualification
• Strong audit background within UK practice
• Experience leading audits and supervising junior staff
• Solid technical knowledge of UK GAAP and ISAs
• Confident communicator with a commercial, client-focused approach
• Ambitious and motivated to progress towards Audit Manager

• Salary circa £42,000 depending on experience
