Role Overview

The Talos Test will play a key role in supporting various accountancy functions within the company. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. You will be part of a collaborative team that values integrity, precision, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform reconciliations of accounts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and organised financial records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations as required.
  • Stay up to date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Educated to A-level standard or equivalent; a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable.
  • Previous experience in an accountancy role or finance department is advantageous.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems is a plus.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
