Accounts Assistant - Part time

Accounts Assistant (Part-Time) 15 hours per week

Reed Accountancy is delighted to be recruiting for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant on behalf of our Coventry based client. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional who enjoys working within a small, supportive finance team while also managing their own workload effectively.

The successful candidate will support the Management Accountant with the day-to-day financial administration of the business. A valid DBS check is a mandatory requirement for this position, along with previous experience using Xero accounting software and experience with purchase ledger.

Key Responsibilities

• Process income and expenditure transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate financial records using Xero.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Sales ledger.
• Purchase ledger
• Credit control.
• Assist with audit
• General accounts administration.

About You

• Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, Purchase Ledger or Finance Administrator position.
• Experience using Xero accounting software.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
