Senior Dealership Accountant

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable main dealer based in Coventry, for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the dealership, ensuring accurate reporting and fostering continuous process improvements. This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled Senior Accountant with a background in automotive or dealership accounting, seeking to contribute to a dynamic team within a respected organisation.

Oversee daily accounting operations and lead the accounts team Manage month-end, year-end, and financial reporting activities Prepare and analyse management accounts, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports Ensure accurate reconciliations, journals, and adherence to accounting controls Handle intercompany reconciliations and statutory returns Support dealerships and Head Office with financial reporting and queries Liaise with internal and external auditors Identify opportunities to optimise accounting processes and controls Requirements: ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified, or equivalent Between 3 and 6 years’ post-qualification experience Strong experience in financial accounting and reporting Automotive or dealership accounting experience preferred Knowledge of Autoline DMS beneficial Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office suite Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills Contact Aedan Oliver, Automotive Recruitment Specialist at Perfect Placement covering Covnetry and West Midlands, today to discover more about this fantastic Senior Dealership Accountant opportunity.
