Armstrongs Accountancy is a highly qualified and experienced accountancy practice, supporting businesses at every stage of their growth journey. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a motivated and detailed-oriented VFO Administrator to join our growing team in Coventry.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to join our Virtual Finance Office (VFO) team. The successful candidate will provide administrative and accounting support to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of financial services to our clients.

The role would suit someone with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a positive, can-do attitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Providing day-to-day administrative support to the VFO team

* Managing the correspondence and communications of the organisation such as phone calls, post and emails

* Scanning

* Assisting with bookkeeping and accounting tasks to the wider team

* Supporting the preparation of financial reports and statements

* Completing partial checks of financial postings and records

* Maintain accurate financial and client records

* Posting wage journals

* Completing tax-related forms and documentation

* Building and maintain strong client relationships

* Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure deadlines are met

* Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information

* Ensuring all monthly deadlines are achieved accurately and on time

Skills & Experience Required

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Excellent organisational and time management skills

* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

* Experience using accounting software such as Xero or Quick Books (Desirable)
