Executive Assistant to Director of Operations at Severn Trent – a role requiring strong organisational skills and proactive support across operations, stakeholder coordination, and team management.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Operations: diary management, meeting coordination and travel arrangements.
- Act as key point of contact and facilitate effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with preparation of reports, presentations and documentation for operational meetings and strategic initiatives.
- Proactively manage competing priorities and anticipate the Director’s needs to ensure seamless day‑to‑day operations.
- Support execution of special projects and operational initiatives, often working cross‑functionally with other departments.
- Manage and support a small team of Personal Assistants, keeping them aligned, motivated and high‑performing.
- Experience as an Executive Assistant or high‑level administrative support in a similar setting.
- Previous team management experience leading a high‑performing team of Personal Assistants.
- Exceptional organisation and attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to create calm in the chaos, applying structure, clarity and confidence in fast‑paced, ever‑changing environments.
- Ambitious, eager to grow within a fast‑moving organisation.
- Naturally curious, with a desire to understand broader business context and contribute meaningfully.
- Works independently and collaboratively with a hands‑on approach to problem solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high professionalism and discretion.
