We are looking for someone who can provide excellent administrative support to the TFC Team by supporting Board governance, grant application and reporting processes, and working closely with the Diocesan Central Team to enable the effective delivery of community transformation projects across the Diocese of Coventry.
The main responsibilities of the Governance and Grants Administrator are:- Provide administrative support for TFC Board meetings including organising meetings, publishing accurate minutes, collating papers for board meetings and handling important data.
- Set up systems and administratively support various TFC and parish community projects across the diocese to ensure their success.
This includes supporting key regeneration projects across the Diocese and strengthening outreach of the various teams that support the poorest communities in Coventry and Warwickshire. - Engaging with TFC’s Company Secretary and TFC’s Finance Manager to ensure Companies House and Charities Commission receive timely information about TFC, including supporting the production of an Annual Report & Accounts and Saints Annual Update.
- Responsible to the Camp Hill Revitalisation Manager to provide administrative support for grant applications submitted by TFC, including bid writing where required, coordinating supporting documentation and maintaining accurate records of all grant applications, awards and reporting requirements.
- Work with the TFC Central Team to monitor and report on funding bids, including form filling, collating statistics/data while maintaining up to date records.
- Supporting the TFC Finance Manager to track grants that are recorded, received and spent in accordance with the various grant restrictions
- Experience with administration of a busy charity or similar organisation.
- Familiarity with producing and managing accurate and complex documentation and correspondence, including grant applications and monitoring reports.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to undertake clear notes/minutes of meetings.
- Discreet, trustworthy and able to deal sensitively with private or confidential information.
- Conscientious, diligent and hardworking.
- Be supportive of the charitable aims, objectives and activities of Together for Change.
- Be supportive of the mission and ministry of the Church of England and the Diocese of Coventry mission purpose statement.
