Hybrid/Flexible Working Available Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent We are currently seeking an organised and detail-oriented Claims Clerk to join a successful and growing insurance business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administration or insurance experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, organisation, and problem-solving are key. Supporting operational and broking teams, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing documentation, managing data, and assisting with a range of insurance administration activities.
The role offers the opportunity to work independently while collaborating closely with colleagues across the business.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and distribute documentation using established templates and procedures. Gather information from multiple sources to accurately complete business and client documentation. Enter, update, amend, and maintain data across company systems. Manage electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date. Monitor and manage day-to-day correspondence, escalating urgent matters where necessary. Support treaty account administration and processing activities.
Check documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Assist with claims administration and premium processing. Produce and maintain management information and operational records. Support the wider team with administrative and operational tasks as required. About You We're looking for a motivated professional who has:
Previous experience in an insurance, financial services, or administration environment. A good understanding of general insurance principles. Strong attention to detail and excellent data accuracy skills. The ability to analyse information and identify key details. Strong organisational and time-management abilities. Confidence using Microsoft Office and other business systems. Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills. The ability to work independently with limited supervision.
