Role Overview

As the Used Car Sales Manager at the Phoenix Corner dealership in Coventry, you will lead the sales team, driving customer satisfaction and sales targets while maintaining strong departmental budgets and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, monitor and maintain budgetary controls for the department.
  • Manage departmental deadlines and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, select and onboard new sales talent.
  • Develop and support the team to achieve individual and business goals.
  • Maintain administrative processes – profit & loss sheets, delivery documents, customer follow‑ups, financial forecasting, registration forecasts and supplier coordination.
  • Lead daily morning meetings, motivating the team and setting performance targets.
A Day in the Life

Start with a morning meeting to align the team, deliver product presentations and enable quick action on digital leads. Throughout the day maintain a tidy showroom and POS displays, assist sales advisors, close sales, handle admin tasks, update forecasting documents and attend monthly brand meetings. Provide a supportive and customer‑centred approach, treating each customer with the care expected from a Stellantis experience.

Qualifications
  • Proven sales experience – preferably in automotive or retail sales
  • Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
  • Passion for best‑in‑class customer service
  • Desire to develop and grow team members to succeed
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage departmental finance and admin
