Salary: £45,000 Basic Salary Depending on Experience | OTE £48,000
Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays (Rota)

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs while ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop to the highest manufacturer standards.
Responsibilities include:
• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work on cars and light commercial vehicles
• Completing mechanical and electrical repairs, including suspension, engine and gearbox work
• Diagnosing faults using the latest workshop equipment
• Carrying out routine inspections and vehicle health checks
• Completing all work in line with manufacturer and health & safety standards
• Attending ongoing manufacturer training to further develop your technical skills
• Completing workshop paperwork and job cards accurately
• Working closely with the wider workshop team to maintain efficiency and quality
About You
We're looking for a technician who enjoys delivering quality work and takes pride in getting the job done right.
You'll ideally have:
• Level 3 NVQ, IMI or City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician / Car Mechanic
• Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic skills
• Experience working within a main dealer, independent garage or specialist workshop
• MOT Tester Licence highly desirable
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
