A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to help shape the growth of a forward‑thinking engineering and manufacturing business at the forefront of eMobility and hydrogen system integration. With a strong reputation for quality and a rapidly expanding customer base, this role is ideal for a driven, commercially minded individual who enjoys identifying opportunities, building relationships and winning new business.
 
The Business Development Manager will:
 
Build a strong understanding of the company's engineering, manufacturing and product capabilities.
Identify and validate new customers and market opportunities for the business.
Engage new prospects, follow up leads and explore opportunities with existing accounts.
Work closely with customers to define scopes of work, deliverables and technical requirements.
Prepare high‑quality customer quotations and commercial proposals.
Use the CRM system to manage customer information and interactions.
Maintain the sales funnel and business development metrics to track progress and performance.

The Business Development Manager will have:
 
Extensive experience in the niche vehicle, e‑mobility and/or hydrogen fuel cell industries.
Strong ability to present reports and commercial information to C‑suite and board‑level stakeholders.
Experience using and maintaining CRM systems and sales funnel reporting tools.
A degree‑level qualification (or equivalent) ideally in engineering, science, business or technology.
Experience working within an SME and supporting business growth.
Self‑motivated, proactive and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Adaptable, resilient and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
