Senior Business Development Manager – Aerospace

We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across our Aerospace sector as part of the broader Future Mobility activity, focusing on direct industrial projects and collaborative research & development initiatives.

• Drive revenue growth across Aerospace and the wider Future Mobility sector.
• Identify opportunities within existing accounts and new markets to create mutual value.
• Understand customers’ technological and strategic roadmaps, needs, and requirements.
• Develop and maintain strategic/key account plans.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver world‑class outcomes.
• Generate leads, manage pipeline, and report from opportunity identification to closing.

• Consultative, solution‑based selling approach with a proven track record in Aerospace.
• Commercially driven with ability to navigate complex environments and deliver results.
• Strong network within the Aerospace industry, engaged at senior levels.
• Proven track record of building and closing multi‑million‑pound sales pipelines.
• Excellent written communication skills, especially in developing compelling proposals.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management.
• Ability to engage credibly with technical stakeholders and understand engineering concepts.
• Proactive, agile mindset with a passion for innovation and transformation.

• Experience with Miller–Heiman or structured sales methodologies.
• Understanding of engineering, manufacturing or change management challenges.
• Degree in Business or Engineering (MBA a plus).
• Experience working in R&D or innovation‑led environments.
• Experience working across public and private sector partnerships.

Must hold a full UK driving licence.
