Business Development Manager – New Business

Join Micom and help shape the future of customer communications.

We’re looking for an ambitious, high‑performing Business Development Manager to join Micom and play a key role in our next phase of growth.

This is a genuine new business role. You’ll be responsible for opening doors, building a strong pipeline, winning new customers, and creating long‑term recurring revenue opportunities.

The Opportunity

Your focus will be on:
  • Identifying and engaging new prospects.
  • Building and managing a robust sales pipeline.
  • Creating opportunities through proactive prospecting.
  • Engaging senior decision‑makers and stakeholders.
  • Understanding customer challenges and positioning value‑led solutions.
  • Converting opportunities into long‑term strategic relationships.
  • Achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

This is not an account management role. It is a role for someone who enjoys creating opportunities and winning new business.

About You

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • A proven track record of winning new business and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling complex B2B solutions.
  • Confidence engaging with senior decision‑makers and C‑suite stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling skills.
  • The ability to build pipeline through self‑generated activity.
  • Resilience, drive, and a desire to succeed.
  • Experience with in Customer Communications Management, document management, business process outsourcing, software, technology, or related sectors would be advantageous.
