We're looking for an Events Assistant on an initial 3-month FTC or internal secondment to support the delivery of high-quality internal and external events across Browne Jacobson.
The role
As an Events Assistant, you'll sit at the heart of our Events team, working closely with the Business Development Management Team and each of our Target Market Groups (TMGs) to support and produce strategically focused events that drive client engagement and business development activity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop their career in events, gaining hands-on experience across a broad range of live, digital, and exhibition events, with the opportunity to grow into managing and leading your own events over time.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting colleagues to ensure that all internal and external live, digital, and exhibition events are successfully delivered, reflecting the desired environment in terms of quality and experience.
- Managing the events team inbox and responding to client queries in a timely and professional manner, including managing the central events and webinars calendars and issuing event diary invites.
- Coordinating the supply of events merchandise, marketing materials, and exhibition collateral, and liaising with suppliers, venues, and logistics partners to ensure smooth transportation and installation of materials in line with event timelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- A genuine enthusiasm for events and a desire to learn and develop - previous events experience is desirable but not essential, and we welcome applications from those who are eager to grow within the role.
