Construction Sub Agent, Site Manager

A Tier 1 civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to support the delivery of a major highways project in Coventry. This is a long-term contract operating outside IR35, available on a CIS or LTD basis, with an immediate start.

Role Responsibilities

* Assist the Site Agent in managing day-to-day site operations

* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers

* Oversee setting out, quality assurance and technical delivery

* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and RAMS

* Produce site documentation, reports, ITPs and quality records

* Support progress monitoring, problem-solving and programme delivery

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Sub Agent or Senior Engineer on highways or major civils projects

* Strong understanding of earthworks, drainage, structures or road construction

* SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications preferred

* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

* Ability to start immediately and commit for the full contract duration
