Site Manager - Groundworks Company Overview

We are currently seeking 2-3 highly skilled and experienced Site Managers to join our team and help us continue to grow and succeed.

Position Overview

As the Site Manager for our groundworks projects, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. You will work closely with our clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of groundworks projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project success
  • Monitor and control project budgets, timelines, and resources
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and progress of work
  • Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
  • Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress and performance
  • Mentor and train junior team members to ensure their professional growth and development
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency on projects
Qualifications and Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in groundworks construction
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
