Site Manager

Your new company You will be joining a leading UK main contractor with a strong presence across the West Midlands, delivering high-quality design and build projects within the construction sector. With a substantial secured order book and a growing regional pipeline, the business offers long-term stability alongside the opportunity to work on complex and rewarding schemes. Your new role You will join the business as a Site Manager, responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of construction projects across multiple sites within the region.

Manage and coordinate all on-site activities including labour, plant, subcontractors, staff and equipment Drive the construction programme proactively, identifying risks, opportunities and implementing corrective actions Lead, motivate and develop site teams, monitoring performance and fostering a positive working environment Resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain programme, quality and safety standards Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, reports and site documentation Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders as required Support the Project Manager, taking direction and stepping up to lead site operations when necessary Coordinate procurement and material delivery with the buying and Surveying teams Take full accountability for site performance, health & safety, quality and programme delivery Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and internal safety standards Deliver daily coordination meetings with the supply chain on site Manage Temporary Works in line with design requirements and safety compliance Lead quality inspections and ensure standards are achieved and maintained across all site activities What you'll need to succeed Proven experience working as a Site Manager for a main contractor Strong background in design and build projects Demonstrable experience managing health & safety, quality and site performance Experience managing Temporary Works SMSTS CSCS Card (Black or Gold preferred) What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
