Coventry City FC is looking to recruit a Graphic Designer to join our growing Brand team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic designer to play an important role in bringing Coventry City FC’s brand to life for supporters across the UK and around the world.
The successful candidate will have a passion for design, strong creative instincts and an ambition to create striking and engaging artwork that elevate the Club’s output across social media, marketing campaigns, matchdays and wider brand activity.
The RoleReporting to the Head of Brand, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality creative artwork that supports Coventry City FC’s brand, marketing and commercial objectives.
Working closely with colleagues across Brand, Marketing, Retail, Partnerships and Football Operations, the Graphic Designer will develop creative that engages supporters, communicates key messages and celebrates Coventry’s unique identity as an influential and aspirational city with a proud motor heritage.
From matchday graphics and social media campaigns to retail launches, brand campaigns and creative installations, you'll help ensure every piece of communication reflects and strengthens the exciting visual identity of both the Club and city.
The role will involve working across a wide range of creative formats and platforms, with the opportunity to develop campaigns inspired by Motors, Music, Fashion and Cuisine, as well as the culture and identity of Coventry.
The successful candidate will be a talented and commercially aware designer with excellent attention to detail, a strong understanding of visual communication and the ability to produce high-quality creative in a fast-paced sporting environment.
The role will include weekend work across Premier League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup matchdays, as required.
Key Responsibilities- Create striking and engaging graphic design across Coventry City FC’s social media, digital, marketing, commercial and brand channels.
- Develop creative concepts and visual campaigns that bring the COV identity to life through motors, music, fashion and cuisine.
- Design social-first content that captures attention, drives engagement and encourages supporters to interact and share.
- Create matchday graphics and creative assets for Premier League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup fixtures.
- Develop artwork for club campaigns, announcements, promotions, events, activations and key calendar moments.
- Support the creative delivery of retail campaigns, product launches, matchday promotions and pop-up experiences.
- Work collaboratively with the Brand, Marketing, Content, Partnerships, Retail and Football Operations teams to develop creative solutions.
- Ensure all creative output remains consistent with Coventry City FC’s brand identity and visual guidelines.
- Translate campaign concepts and briefs into compelling visual communications across multiple formats and platforms.
- Develop artwork for both digital and physical applications, including social media, digital advertising, print, signage, displays and event materials.
- Identify opportunities to create culturally relevant and visually distinctive content that extends the Club’s reach beyond football, with a focus on the Car Industry, Motorsports, Music and Cuisine.
- Support international campaigns and creative projects aimed at growing the Club’s supporter base in key markets.
- Work efficiently across multiple projects while maintaining a consistently high standard of creative execution.
- Keep up to date with emerging design, social media and creative trends within football, sport, fashion, music and popular culture.
