Location:
Basingstoke Salary: £14.50 per hour Job Type: Temporary 12-Month Contract, Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Collections Advisor with excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner to join a busy and supportive team in Basingstoke. This role is ideal for someone with a background in collections or customer service who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining positive customer relationships.
Day-to-day of the role:
Monitor new and existing arrears cases, proactively chasing outstanding balances via telephone, email, and written correspondence. Manage high-value and higher-risk arrears cases to minimise potential losses. Investigate and resolve arrears caused by administrative errors, escalating issues where necessary. Work closely with internal teams to identify and resolve partner-related issues impacting collections. Respond promptly and accurately to customer and internal enquiries regarding arrears cases.
Maintain accurate records and provide updates on case progress. Ensure all collection activities are completed in line with company processes and procedures. Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Previous experience within a Collections, Credit Control, or Customer Service environment. A confident and professional telephone manner. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities. The ability to prioritise workload effectively within a busy office environment. Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to work additional hours when required. Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate of £14.50. Temporary 12-month contract with full-time hours.
Working hours:
