I'm currently working with a specialist façade contractor looking to appoint a Façade Designer to support their growing pipeline of curtain walling and glazing projects.

This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on with technical detailing and working closely with a team in an office-based environment.

My client is a well-established contractor within the façade and glazing sector, delivering bespoke curtain walling, structural glazing and cladding solutions across a range of commercial and residential schemes.

They are known for producing practical, buildable designs and maintaining a strong focus on technical quality throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a fully office-based role (five days a week), ideal for someone who values direct collaboration with colleagues, quick decision-making and close involvement in the design process.

You’ll play a key role in developing façade designs from concept through to construction, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Produce detailed façade drawings for curtain walling and glazing systems
• Develop technical details in line with architectural and project requirements
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and internal teams
• Ensure designs comply with relevant UK standards and CWCT guidance
• Support projects through design, manufacture and installation stages
• Assist with resolving technical queries during delivery

• Experience as a Façade Designer, Cladding Designer or similar
• Strong understanding of curtain walling and glazing systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit beneficial)
• Knowledge of CWCT standards and UK building regulations
• A practical understanding of how façade systems are installed
