Job summary

Join Silverdale Medical Practice as a Salaried GP and become part of a supportive, progressive and highly experienced multidisciplinary team serving approximately 12,700 patients within Swinton, Pendlebury and Clifton.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and patient-focused GP to join us for 6 sessions per week initially for a fixed term position of 12 months, with a view to becoming permanent. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large, well-established practice that values teamwork, clinical excellence and innovation in primary care.

The successful applicant will provide high quality primary medical care through a mixture of face-to-face, telephone and online consultations. Duties will include the assessment, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions, reviewing pathology and clinical correspondence, prescribing safely and maintaining accurate clinical records using EMIS Web.

The role includes working closely with our wider multidisciplinary team including GP Partners, Advanced Practitioners, Pharmacists, Nurses and Care Coordinators to provide safe, effective and patient-centred care. There will also be opportunities to contribute to practice development and quality improvement work.
