Position: . SEND Teaching Assistant Bedworth Area

Overview

Axcis Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to support KS1/KS2 pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication difficulties and SEMH in Bedworth, Warwickshire. This is a full‑time, temporary, daily/weekly contract with a salary of £89‑£105 per day (£445‑£525 per week).

Responsibilities
  • Provide structured classroom support for SEND learners.
  • Assist with behaviour plans and emotional regulation.
  • Support speech, language and communication work.
  • Deliver tailored interventions under teacher guidance.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
Qualifications
  • Experience supporting SEND pupils or vulnerable young people.
  • Confident using behaviour and communication strategies.
  • Resilient, nurturing and team‑oriented.

Applicants must be suitably qualified for the position and be prepared to attend a face‑to‑face interview with Axcis to demonstrate suitability for the role.
