Position: RE Teacher (Contract)
RE Teacher – Coventry – January
1. Contract – Full-Time, Long-Term
2. Salary – £150-£260 Per Day (Paid Weekly)
Are you an enthusiastic and reflective educator with QTS with a passion for exploring values, beliefs and the richness of worldviews? We are seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join a welcoming Secondary School community in Coventry from January. This full-time, long-term role offers the chance to inspire students, nurture curiosity and encourage meaningful thinking about themselves, others and the world.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive RE lessons that explore a wide range of worldviews and faith traditions

* Encouraging thoughtful discussion, respectful debate and inquiry-based learning

* Supporting students to develop critical thinking, empathy and cultural awareness

* Creating a classroom climate that values diversity, tolerance and mutual respect

* Using assessment effectively to monitor progress, identify next steps and adapt teaching accordingly

* Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for every student

* Demonstrate strong classroom management skills following the school’s behaviour policy

* Upholding professional standards and a commitment to ongoing reflection and improvement
