The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will provide high-quality, inclusive teaching and support to pupils with a range of additional learning needs across the school.
Responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
* Supporting pupils with a variety of needs, including SEND, ASD, SEMH, ADHD and learning difficulties
* Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress and adapting provision accordingly
* Creating a calm, safe and structured learning environment where all pupils feel supported
* Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, pastoral teams and external professionals
* Contributing to the development and review of personalised learning plans and interventions
* Building positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers and colleagues
* Supporting inclusion, wellbeing and positive behaviour strategies across the school
About You
We are looking for an SEN Teacher who is:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred — ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
* Passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional needs
* Confident adapting teaching approaches to meet a wide range of learning needs
* Calm, patient and consistent in their approach to behaviour and classroom management
* A strong communicator who works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Organised, reflective and committed to professional development

* Supply and cover teachers seeking longer-term consistency
